Install the Google Sheets Add-on

Visit the Google Workspace Marketplace and click "Install" to add Unlimited Sheets to your Google account.

Create Your Free Account

Sign up for a free Unlimited Sheets account to get your API key. No credit card required.

Copy Your API Key

After signing up, go to your Dashboard and copy your API key from the Connect Account section. You'll need this to authenticate the add-on.

Your API key looks like: us_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Configure AI Keys in Google Sheets

Open any Google Sheets document and follow these steps to set up your AI keys:

  1. Click Extensions in the menu bar
  2. Select Unlimited Sheets → Configure AI Keys
  3. Paste your Unlimited Sheets API key
  4. Optionally, add your OpenAI or Anthropic API key for unlimited AI usage
  5. Click Save
Tip: Adding your own OpenAI or Anthropic key unlocks unlimited AI calls — you pay the providers directly at their rates.

Bring Your Own API Key (BYOK)

Pro users can use their own OpenAI or Anthropic API keys for unlimited AI calls at their own cost.

  1. Go to Extensions → Unlimited Sheets → Settings
  2. Click on the BYOK tab
  3. Enter your OpenAI or Anthropic API key
  4. Select your preferred model (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
  5. Click Save
